For many days now, I have been noticing groups on facebook for one of my friends who have been brutally beat right in front of me about a week ago. Watching every single beat done to him right infront of me, with his face on my feet, really changes your perspective of things. It really opened my eyes wide and frightened me. Knowing about what happened, and how badly he was beat really made me worried. He lost a tooth, bruised ribs, multiple bumps and bruises on his head and stomach from kicking and punches, and his ear being ripped nearly from glass.... things just haven't been the same. There has been protests for my school for "Stop Bullying. Keep Our Children Safe" and groups for posting your life stories to relate to bullying. Some of the people, and my friends, have posted their true life stories on this group for anybody to see. It's scary to what some people have said or have delt with. Knowing some of my friends have gone through great depression problems or suicidal thoughts really scares me. But the thing is, that's what society does to you when you're bullied severely. This group changed so much of what I have thought about things. My thoughts were for these people? Well, this is what I posted exactly for everyone else to see on facebook;

for those of posting your life stories, you're all one peice of courage and artwork. Not many people would have the courage to post a life story of the things they may not be proud of, embarressed about, or frightened about. That one individual person knows what life is made of. There will always be hard things in life, challenges; things that will make you depressed, furious, maybe even nearly su...icidal. Those challenges are made up of society. Yes, society is ugly! But you are not. Everyone is individually beautiful in their own way even if someone may not like you for what you wear, your hair, or your makeup style, the way you talk, look, or how they think you're different from everyone else. Wrong. There will always be someone to make you realize what's real in life, for what you can live for. Everyone feels different independently. That independence is what can also bloom into pride, faith, and worship for yourself. Those bullies who may put your spirits down arn't worth the risk of letting yourself go. Have faith in yourself even if you may feel the worst. Smile for those haters and smile for those who accept you. Life can be a beautiful thing, as long as you think that way ♥ As I like to think; never give up, life is just a smile away to what can change everything around on a whole new level.

He is a man in Africa that nobody knew for over 20 years and has never been stopped. Why have we only noticed today? Well, ask the nation.
